  • Had code P0172 and P0174 indicating lean on both banks. Performed a smoke test and found a lot of air leaks at the intake boot retightened all the clamps and leaks are gone . I cleared the codes and the memory. For the overheat condition i found the radiator cap is broken needs new cap and recheck.

  • Found that there are two componants makeing noise. The first is that the front brake pads have just gone metal to metal and are causing a nise when braking. Found that there is also noise coming from the front wheel bearing. Found no record of the timing belt being done. Found that the rear shocks are leaking. Found that the sticker says that the next oil change is due at 168519. Customer authorized front brake pads and rotors. Customer authorized engine oil change. Customer is aware and has acknowledges that the noise will still be present from the wheel bearings.

Advise customer that we found that the positive battery cable was very loose. Advise customer that when we tightened battery terminal ends all symptoms went away. Advise customer that during the test drive a brake pedal pulsation. Advise customer that the timing cover gasket is leaking engine oil. Advise customer that all four tires has slight dry rot. Recommend replacing front brake pads and rotors. Recommend replacing timing cover gaskets.
