Found that there is also noise coming from the front wheel bearing. Found no record of the timing belt being done. Found that the rear shocks are leaking. Found that the sticker says that the next oil change is due at 168519. Customer authorized front brake pads and rotors. Customer authorized engine oil change. Customer is aware and has acknowledges that the noise will still be present from the wheel bearings.

Advise customer that we found that the positive battery cable was very loose. Advise customer that when we tightened battery terminal ends all symptoms went away.   • Advise customer that the engine oil change service is very over due. Advise customer that the engine air filter is very dirty. Advise customer that the serpentine belts are making noise. Advise customer that we removed the main serpentine belt in order to test the pulleys. Advise customer that both tensioner pulleys and the idler pulley have play in them. Recommend replacing tensioner assembly. Advise customer that Hyundai has updated the idler and both tensioner pulleys and that we must replace the entire assembly with a factory component. Recommend replacing both belts at the same time.

Advise customer that after belt replacement and checking for damages that the vehicle runs well, doesn't overheat, and power steering operates normally. Advise customer that the wiper blades need replacement. Advise customer that the engine oil change is due. Advise customer that the a/c condensor has damage to it. Advise customer that based on mileage intervals, the vehicle is due for fluid services on the transmission, cooling system, and brake fluid. Advise customer replacing spark plugs and ignition wires based on mileage intervals. Recommend performing an oil change.

  • Found that there are codes in the PCM, Traction control module, and body control module. Codes present are P0303, 83-1, 61.1, and B2265 Code P0303 is a misfire code for cylinder 3. We swapped cylinder 3 spark plug and ignition coil to cylinder 6. Misfire code followed. Swapped coil in Cylinder 6 to cylinder 5 and misfire code remained on cylinder 6. Recommend replacing spark plugs and performing a 3 part carbon clean serivce. Advise customer that the other codes for the traction control/abs module did not return during test drives. Recommend no further action unless codes return in the future. Advise customer that the serpentine belt is cracking. Recommend replacing serpentine belt. Recommend performing a engine coolant system service as maintenance. Advise customer that the rear brake pads are at 20 to 25% of brake pad thickness remaining. Recommend replacing brake pads soon as to not cause damage to the rest of the rear brake system.
